1. What is a Maid-Rite?

Our one and only Maid-Rite sandwich is a special cut and grind of low fat 100% fresh ground beef made to order with our secret combination of delicious seasoning, cooked to perfection and then served on a warm bun for a delicious taste treat that our customers love to savor time and time again.

2. What areas of the country are you targeting for growth in the year ahead?
The central and southwestern United States where we have strong familiar brand identity and existing logistical franchisee support capabilities established by the presence of our 70+ existing Maid-Rite restaurants.

3. What is the profile of the candidates you are looking for to become Maid-Rite franchisees?
Individuals as owner operators who take pride in their work, who enjoy being around their customers, who are established and active in their communities, who understand the importance of friendly, gracious hospitality, whose employees can depend on and look to for leadership and in the true spirit of capitalism have a sharp eye for the bottom-line.


4. What does it cost to open a Maid-Rite Restaurant?
For a typical Maid-Rite Franchise Restaurant in a leased 1,300 sq. ft. facility, including the franchisee fee, equipment, millwork, inventory, furniture, fixtures and working capital, the average cost is between $225,000 to $350,000.  For a free-standing restaurant, building and land costs would be additional expenditures.
Normally, the amount of out of pocket cash needed by a franchisee ranges from $50,000 to $125,000 which relates to the total cost of the above-referred items in your Maid-Rite restaurant.

5. From the time that I sign my franchise agreement, how long before I can be operating my restaurant?
Depending on site availability and with our "turn-key" franchisee package, an existing facility can be operational within 60 to 150 days.

6. What are the most important ingredients that franchisee owners need to possess?
The desire to become successful and the belief in one’s self, plus the ability to extend friendly hospitality to others and a positive outlook on life.
